We are Southern Roots Youth Group  of Christ Community Church, located in Baxley Ga.
We are a group of Christians that love having fun all while learning, praising, and worshiping the Lord our GOD.
If you are new to the area or just haven't found a youth group to get plugged into come join us! We would love for you to be apart.

Here at Southern Roots Youth Group  we learn about God in different fun and exciting ways that connect with our students.
From skits, praise and worship, and missions all the way to fireside devotions, ski trips,
and summer pool parties we do it all while incorporating God.

What makes Southern Roots Youth Group different is we try to lead our students into not just becoming a christian but a disciple for Christ.
We do this by allowing the students to become active in our community thru different missions.  We not only get our students involved in church but we also get our Church involved with our Students. 

Mrs. Erin Aldridge Joined our team early 2023 and has done an exceptional job connecting with our students. She plays a major role on our Youth Trips and LOVES being apart.
She also does a fantastic job in making sure our students are well fed every Wednesday!

Lance Griffin Joined our Team as Youth Pastor in 2023. His love for God and the students have made an everlasting impact on this Youth group
He enjoys creating activities that get the students involved and excited about God.
His plans are to "Help the Youth become disciples of Christ"

Mrs. Shona Pate has worked with our Students not only here at Christ Community Church but also at Appling County Middle School.
She has been involved in Show Choir since 2011 and has accomplished many goals. She does a superb job at teaching students how to not only sing but play instruments as well.
